XXX Corp Commemorative Trip - September 2014

 

This trip commemorated the 70th anniversary of the dash from the Dutch/Belgian border by XXX Corp to Arnhem (it also coincided with the 200th anniversary of the Dutch Army who provided the logistics support). The XXX Corp trip brought together around 130 British vehicles including several tanks, light armoured recce cars (Humbers, Dingos etc) as well as many soft skinned vehicles of all types plus ~400 re-enactors. Convoys of vehicles made their way through villages & town over the 6 days to converge on Arnhem. Whilst much of the time the surroundings were modern, there were a few opportunities for some period shots.......and as you know we always strive for authenticity.
