Monty's Men - Training, England 2019

 

With the EU law preventing further trips to the actual site of various units actions, the Monty's Men gathering was once again somewhere in England. Portraying troops of the 1st Battalion Kings Own Scottish Borderers, 9th Infantry Brigade, 3rd (Iron) Infantry Division the assembled troops comprised a full infantry company complete with Company HQ, RASC support units, RAMC and MMG Section and to record the events AFPU cameramen and a War Correspondent. With some enemy opposition and very hot weather, the event was a real test for everyone and produced some excellent photo opportunities.....not least the sight of over 100 British infantry in one place!
